The Nimbus 405 Flybridge is a 43-foot fiberglass cruiser with twin Volvo diesel engines, built for comfortable long-distance cruising and social entertaining. The flybridge design integrates seamlessly with the modern coupé hull, featuring clean, swept lines and a folding mast that allows the boat to pass under low bridges with minimal adjustments. A large fixed skylight floods the salon with natural light despite the upper structure.
The flybridge is arranged as a versatile social space, with a wet bar including sink, grill, and refrigerator, a sun bed, and substantial seating that includes a twin helm seat and large sofa. The helm seat rotates 180 degrees to combine with the sofa into a generous lounging area, and the sofa itself converts into an additional sun bed if needed. The deck layout maximizes walking space along the starboard side, making boarding and moving around the boat straightforward while preserving open cockpit and cabin areas.
The boat is designed with practicality at its core: the bridge-clearance system allows straightforward lowering, and the "sidewalk" deck configuration prioritizes both function and safety. Built at the Nimbus yard in Mariestad, Sweden, the boat represents the latest iteration of the Coupé series that has been in production since 1969.
