The Nimbus Commuter 11 is a 40-foot fiberglass cruiser built for speed and long-distance comfort. Twin 600-horsepower Mercury diesel engines give it a cruising speed of 35 knots, while its design balances protection from the elements with the openness of a day boat. The hull accommodates up to nine people.
The heart of the boat is the main salon, which combines generous headroom and abundant natural light through large windows. The interior layout is deliberately flexible: two sofas fold and reposition with simple handles, while the dining table raises, lowers, rotates, and folds to suit different configurations—whether for forward-facing transport, dining, or social gathering. Stowage compartments throughout the salon remain easily accessible. When open, the boat feels expansive: full-width side doors, a stern gate, and roof hatches all open completely.
The helm station seats two and offers standing or sitting options for the helmsman. Storage surrounds the helm, and the dashboard has room for two 12-inch plotters. Available upgrades include professional suspension seats and joystick steering.
