The Nimbus Commuter 8 is a 26-foot cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with a single Mercury Verado V8-250 outboard engine. The boat combines practical design with high-specification equipment, featuring a Nordic oak interior, Flexiteek decking with full exterior coverage, and a modern dash layout. It is powered for confident performance across varying conditions and equipped with Nimbus Connect for remote system monitoring.
The cabin sleeps two with a double berth and includes a compact galley with an Isotherm cube fridge and sink, plus a separate head with toilet and sink. The cockpit offers adjustable helm and co-pilot seats, an aft bench, and a manual sliding roof and windscreen for ventilation and visibility. Foredeck and extended aft sunbeds with protective covers, stern gates, and roof racks with 60kg capacity provide practical outdoor space.
Navigation and safety systems include a Simrad NSX 12-inch plotter, Simrad xSonic SS60 thru-hull sonar, and Simrad RS40 VHF with AIS receiver. A Quick DP2I-770 bow windlass operates a 7.5kg anchor with 25 metres of stainless steel chain. The mooring package includes lines, four fenders with covers, and a spare anchor. LED lighting and integrated controls run throughout.
The boat holds 240 litres of fuel and 50 litres of fresh water. It is antifouled for improved performance and efficiency. A full mooring kit, protective sun covers, and a Nimbus pillow set are included.
