2026 Nimbus Commuter 8

The Nimbus Commuter 8 is a 26-foot fiberglass cruiser built for active use in all seasons. Powered by a single Mercury 300 hp diesel engine, it cruises at 34.76 knots and combines purposeful commuter design with flexible day-trip capability. The hull balances speed and efficiency with the space and comfort needed for extended overnight journeys.

The boat's layout prioritizes accessible movement and light. A wide walk-around design, generous storage, sliding glass doors, and a removable aft hatch keep the interior feeling open. The foredeck converts between lounge, relaxation, and driving modes. The cockpit features a helm station with swiveling seats that face an opposite passenger sofa; the helm can be extended into a dining table. The aft deck accommodates four to five people across benches and a foldable sofa.

Below, the forward cabin holds a double berth, separate head, and kitchenette. The passenger sofa converts to extra sleeping berths for children. An integrated loading arch across the cabin top secures sporting equipment like kayaks, paddleboards, or surfboards.
