The 2026 Nimbus Weekender 9 is a 31-foot fiberglass cruiser built on proven Nimbus design principles. Its hull features the air-lubricated stepped design that has defined the Nimbus family since 2000, combining a sharp bow with a relatively flat stern section to achieve low center of gravity and stable handling. Powered by a single 250 hp Mercury diesel engine, the boat is built for speed and efficiency, reaching maximum speeds above 40 knots.

The interior accommodates two cabins and draws on the successful layout introduced in earlier Nimbus models like the Epoca and Ballista. The boat features a broad foredeck for safe boarding and disembarking, side windows styled after the Spectra line, and an integrated canvas hood frame design similar to the 305 Drophead. The proportions and hull geometry work together to deliver a boat that tracks well and responds predictably in varying sea conditions.
