The Nitro Z17 is a 17-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull with a single 115-horsepower Mercury FourStroke outboard engine. The NVT hull design delivers quick planing and stable, controlled handling at speed. At 7.5 feet wide, the beam provides room for multiple anglers and good stability across varying water conditions.

The boat prioritizes fishing storage and organization. Rod lockers accommodate rods up to 7 feet 6 inches, while the rear deck has dedicated tackle storage boxes kept dry and accessible. Additional storage compartments run beneath the decks throughout the boat. The helm is equipped with a standard Lowrance fishfinder, a complete gauge set, and straightforward switching.
