2026 Nordhavn 76

The Nordhavn 76 is a 76-foot fiberglass motor yacht that blends traditional trawler styling with modern passagemaking capability. Designed by naval architect Jeff Leishman and PAE's engineering team, then built at Ta Shing in Taiwan, the boat combines a salty, rugged aesthetic with refined systems and construction. The aft pilothouse layout carries a crane forward and launches tenders from either side. Extensive tooling and mold work—including polished gel coat fiberglass construction and interchangeable bow configurations (conventional or bulbous)—support both single and twin-engine options.

The yacht accommodates five cabins and five heads. Interiors feature crown molding, granite countertops, leather, engineered lighting, and quality appliances. The layout emphasizes safety for offshore operation, with numerous handrails, half-inch tempered glass windows, watertight doors, and bulkheads throughout. Advanced AC and DC electrical systems enable semi-automatic operation by a small crew or couple.

Power comes from a single John Deere 6135AFM diesel engine rated at 500 horsepower, with a 20,000-hour service life expectancy. Standard equipment includes dry exhaust, keel cooling, a Lugger wing engine, chilled water air conditioning, TRAC stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, a Marquipt davit, windlass, and ground tackle. A twin-engine configuration is available, with keel molds for dual-screw protection built into the production tooling.

The 76 is constructed as a production boat on an established building schedule by a team with three decades of continuity, offering customization within a proven, solid platform rather than semi-custom risk. Performance, systems, and engineering are developed and field-tested across the fleet.
