2026 One Design Cape 31

The Cape 31 is a 31-foot composite racing yacht designed by Mark Mills and built by Cape Performance Sailing. Engineered as a high-performance one-design class, she competes successfully under both one-design and rating systems. The class has demonstrated strong racing pedigree, winning class honours across multiple Caribbean events, the UK IRC Nationals, and podium finishes at Les Voiles de St Tropez and the San Francisco Big Boat Series.

The boat accommodates a crew of seven and is built around owner-driver racing with mixed amateur and professional crew. The two-piece mast and trailerable hull make transport straightforward—the boat fits into a standard 40-foot shipping container, enabling easy relocation to different racing venues. A Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power.
