The Parker 217 Explorer is a 21-foot pilothouse sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull with an enclosed cabin designed for year-round coastal fishing and cruising in variable weather. Powered by twin Yamaha engines, the boat features a self-bailing cockpit, thru-bolted hull and deck construction, and standard Seakeeper 450 stabilization system for improved ride quality in rough conditions. The hull carries a limited lifetime warranty and includes flotation foam for safety.
The fully enclosed pilothouse measures 68 inches long by 78 inches wide with 35 inches of headroom in the twin berth sleeping area. Inside are port and starboard sliding windows with screens, LED cabin lighting, and a porta-potty. The helm features hydraulic steering with stainless steel wheel and dual windshield wipers, paired with a Garmin 943 XS GPS chartplotter, Garmin 115 VHF radio with antenna, and Wet Sounds stereo with four speakers. Seating includes a captain's chair with footrest and a port lounge seat incorporating a built-in three-tray tackle cabinet, with additional jump seats and cushioned backrests at the stern.
Fishing amenities are substantial: an integrated livewell in the molded splashwell, six-rod aluminum Rocket Launcher, four gunwale-mounted stainless steel rod holders, and under-gunnel rod storage with toe rails. Six blue LED underwater lights and LED spreader lighting support low-light operations. A raw water washdown, heavy-duty rub rail with stainless steel insert, integrated swim platform with telescoping ladder, and one head complete the equipment package. The boat includes stainless steel 1 1/4-inch bow rails and premium cup holders throughout.
