The 2026 Phoenix 721 ZXL is a 21.5-foot fiberglass bay boat powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury engine. The design centers on an expanded front deck—4 inches wider than the preceding 721 Pro XP model—which accommodates up to three large-screen electronics. The deck layout features a three-lid configuration: two full-sized rod lockers flanking a redesigned center storage box that can be fitted with a sliding tackle system.

The hull employs the same running surface as the 721 Pro XP, combining high-speed performance with shallow-water capability. An adjustable 10-inch jack plate with hole shot feature, hydraulic tilt steering with trim control, and a hot foot with adjustable slide support responsive handling. The composite construction keeps weight minimal throughout the design.

Fishing amenities include independent port and starboard livewell systems with LED lighting, padded front decking, and rod storage integrated across the bow and passenger areas. An 1100 GPH auto bilge pump manages water management. Stainless steel hardware—cleats, locking latches, and lid assists—provides durability. Seating comprises diamond-stitched designs with two bike seats on hydraulic pro poles, plus a console storage box with cup holders.

Electronics integration features a Phoenix E2 wiring system, Lowrance Eagle 7 units, a Minn Kota Fortrex 80 trolling motor at 24 volts with 45-inch shaft, and a 3×10 battery charger. The boat comes with a tandem torsion axle trailer fitted with dual disc brakes, 14-inch Velocity wheels, a GatorHyde finish, LED lighting, and either tube or channel frame options.
