2026 Privilege signature 580

The 2026 Privilege Signature 580 is a 58-foot catamaran built in fiberglass with a beam of just over 30 feet. Two Yanmar diesel engines rated at 220 horsepower each provide propulsion through a robust shaft drive system, chosen over sail drives to keep engine and transmission components accessible while the boat remains in the water.

The layout includes a forward lounge accessible from both the salon and owner's suite, or alternatively a storage-focused foredeck configuration without forward cockpit seating. The helm position commands strong visibility and direct communication to the cockpit and fly deck above. Control of the sails is streamlined through an intelligent line management system, with the main halyard, main sheet, genoa sheets, and reefing led to two electric winches positioned at the helm. The genoa operates via a standard electric furling system.

The navigation station faces forward and provides ample workspace for passage planning and communication with the wider cruising community. The design builds on the proven seakeeping and liveaboard capabilities established by Privilege's earlier models, engineered for serious offshore voyaging.
