The Privilege Signature 650 is a 65-foot fiberglass catamaran built on a proven offshore hull design developed through collaboration between designers Franck Darnet and Marc Lombard. The boat is powered by twin 300-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines and combines sailing performance with comfortable cruising accommodations across a beam of 30 feet.
The interior features an enlarged salon with forward-facing panoramic windows positioned further forward and closer to vertical for maximum natural light. The master suite includes an additional side window to port and a king-size bed with a large forward-facing window above it. Headroom throughout exceeds 6.5 feet. The ensuite bathroom in the master suite can be configured in the port bow or in a more central position, with the former layout opening up additional storage and sofa space. Interior layouts are adjustable and convertible, allowing the galley to be positioned down to suit various living requirements from casual lounging to formal dining. The boat accommodates either four or five cabin configurations. In the five-cabin arrangement, the forepeak houses separate crew quarters, with two guest cabins positioned aft—each with its own shower and heads—and views through hull windows. One bow area is designated as a sail locker.
The redesigned foredeck is completely flush, with optimized trampoline nets for safe working in rough seas. Wide side decks feature flush hatches, and high guard rails enhance safety at sea. A new teak sun lounge sits forward of the salon windows, slightly elevated and sheltered on both sides. The cockpit has been lowered to create step-free access to the salon, blending interior and exterior living spaces. Two large upholstered sunpads run port and starboard, with a seating area, dining table, and a new sun lounger overlooking the wake. Storage for water toys sits beneath the aft seat. An optional hydraulic tender platform can launch tenders up to 600 kilograms. Optional upgrades include an electric grill, ice maker, and mini-bar.
The flybridge features a large U-lounge with table and a fully equipped helm station to starboard, with the option of a second helm station to port. A fixed bimini with awning can cover the lounge area. Four large winches operate all lines from the helm. The optional carbon rig includes a mast 50 centimeters taller and boom 30 centimeters longer than the previous 640 series, adding 3 square meters to the genoa and 6 square meters to the mainsail. The mast now sits on the forward edge of the coachroof, improving forecastle tidiness, salon visibility, and line management efficiency. Access to the flybridge from the cockpit uses teak steps and a comfortable handrail.
