The 2026 Ranger RT178C is a 17-foot-8-inch aluminum runabout designed for fishing. Powered by a single 60-horsepower Mercury Marine outboard, it combines open-water capability with thoughtful storage and tackle management across the deck.
The bow layout features three-across seating with a wide design that provides room for active fishing. An 8-foot-6-inch rod locker built into the bow keeps longer rods secure and out of the way. Forward deck storage includes an in-deck tackle box positioned near the aerated livewell, which is divided and timed for live bait management. The rear deck mirrors this utility with two additional tackle storage compartments and a second aerated livewell, leaving plenty of open space for anglers.
The console area is fitted with fiberglass construction offering good legroom beneath. Seating extends across the back with integrated storage underneath the bench. Throughout the boat, custom marine-grade upholstery covers the seating surfaces. A custom-built Ranger Trail trailer tailored to this hull is included, fitted with premium wheels and Road Armor Equipped coating for durability.
