2026 Ranger RT188

The RT188 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built as a workhorse for fishing and general boating. Its all-welded hull is filled with flotation foam from bow to stern, providing structural strength, sound dampening, and wave shock absorption. The design prioritizes stability and fishability with a generous front deck and wide platform throughout, giving you ample room to move and cast without crowding.

The layout centers on practicality. A recessed trolling motor foot pedal keeps the deck clear, while an 8-foot, 6-inch center rod and tackle locker sits flanked by two large storage compartments. The helm features a handmade fiberglass console that accommodates electronics up to 12 inches, precision steering, and rocker switches. A large, aerated and divided livewell handles baitfish and catch.

Power comes from a single Mercury Marine 115-horsepower gasoline engine. The boat is paired with a custom-matched Ranger Trail trailer for easy transport and launch. This is a straightforward, capable platform designed for both tournament fishing and everyday outings on the water.
