The 2026 Ranger RT188 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built for fishing performance and practicality. It pairs a Mercury 115 PROXS CT engine with a Minnkota Edge 70 trolling motor, tilt steering, and a Ranger Trail trailer featuring aluminum wheels, a swing-away tongue, and a matching spare.

The boat's layout prioritizes working space and accessibility. The front deck is generously proportioned to accommodate anglers and gear without crowding the bow area. A recessed foot pedal for the trolling motor sits ahead of an 8-foot, 6-inch center rod and tackle locker flanked by two large storage compartments. The console is handcrafted fiberglass and can mount electronics up to 12 inches, with precision steering controls and rocker switches throughout.

The aft deck features a divided, recirculating livewell and dual storage boxes sized for standard tackle configurations. Below deck, the hull incorporates Ranger's flotation foam system designed for level, upright flotation, and the superstructure is all-welded with no wood components.
