2026 Ranger RT188

The Ranger RT188 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built around fishing performance and durability. Its all-welded construction is reinforced throughout with flotation foam from bow to stern, which absorbs wave shock and vibrations while reducing cabin noise. The generous front deck offers excellent stability and working room, with a layout that avoids the cramped bow typical of smaller designs.

The boat features a spacious center rod and tackle locker flanked by two large storage compartments. A recessed trolling motor foot pedal keeps the deck clear and functional. The fiberglass console accommodates electronics up to 12 inches and includes precision steering and rocker switches for straightforward operation. A large, divided livewell with aeration keeps bait and catch fresh throughout the day.

Power comes from a single 90-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. The boat is offered with the option of Ranger Cup Equipped packages that include a pair of 9-inch fishfinders and an upgraded trolling motor. A Ranger Trail trailer is custom-matched to the RT188 for towing and storage.
