The 2026 Ranger RT188 is an 18.8-foot aluminum runabout built around a welded hull design reinforced with full flotation foam. The foam provides structural strength while also dampening vibrations and engine noise, creating a quieter ride through shallow water. A single 90-horsepower Mercury Marine outboard powers the boat.

The deck layout prioritizes fishing efficiency. The front deck is wide and open, with a large-than-typical platform that offers solid footing and rod storage without cramped geometry.
