The Ranger RT188P is an 18-foot aluminum runabout powered by a 115 hp Mercury Marine engine, built with a pad-bottom hull designed to deliver stability and performance across all RPMs. The aluminum construction offers durability while the pad-hull bottom provides handling characteristics typical of fiberglass designs.
The boat features a handmade fiberglass console equipped to accommodate large-screen electronics, with a flush-mount bow panel for integrated displays. Marine-grade seating throughout matches the console design. The wide platform runs the full length of the boat from bow to stern, providing unobstructed deck space without stepped sections that could interfere with rod placement.
Storage compartments are substantial, with gaskets and insulation beneath each lid to prevent moisture intrusion. The offset transom is configured to accept dual Power-Poles with a jackplate setup. A custom-made trailer tailored to this hull is included. The RT188P can be equipped with optional packages that add twin 9-inch fishfinders and an upgraded trolling motor.
