The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-23 is a 23-foot fiberglass cruiser built for both coastal exploration and overnight trips. Powered by a single 200 hp Yamaha outboard, it delivers capable performance in a compact, trailerable package. The boat is distinguished by its large curved windshield with integrated visor, four opening roof hatches, sliding side windows, and an opening glass bulkhead that flood the interior with natural light and ventilation.
Below deck, the R-23 offers two cabins and one head. The forward cabin accommodates two people with a teak dinette table, convertible sleeping arrangements, and a mid-berth suitable for additional sleeping or storage. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, and microwave. The head includes a marine toilet with holding tank, shower, sink, and mirror.
Standard navigation and safety equipment includes a Garmin 942xsv GPS chartplotter with sonar, VHF radio, illuminated compass, and cabin and cockpit lighting. The R-23 comes fitted with an anchor package, bow thruster, windlass with bow and helm controls, inverter, and teak-and-holly EVA foam traction decking. Air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat and lithium battery upgrade are included, along with a transom platform and rails. Optional upgrades include Garmin xHD radar, autopilot, solar panels, and underwater lights. A trim tab is fitted as standard equipment.
