2026 Ranger Tugs R-23

The Ranger Tugs R-23 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built for comfortable cruising in open water. Powered by a single 200 hp Yamaha outboard, it delivers reliable performance with the efficiency and low-maintenance benefits of outboard propulsion. The boat measures 8.5 feet across the beam, offering a stable platform suitable for extended passages.

Natural light defines the cabin experience. The curved windshield with visor and overhead skylights flood the interior, while four opening roof hatches, sliding side windows, an opening glass bulkhead, and portlights create excellent ventilation and sightlines in all directions. The design balances indoor comfort with the connection to being on the water.

Standard equipment includes a bow thruster with battery, electric windlass operable from bow and helm, anchor package with chain and line, swim platform rails, and an inverter. The R-23 also comes outfitted with a light gray hull finish, air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating powered by inverter, lithium batteries, Garmin autopilot with remote, Garmin xHD radar, a solar panel with control panel, macerator discharge, underwater lights, and a safety kit containing flares, first aid supplies, life jackets, fenders, lines, and boat hook.
