2026 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a 250-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke outboard with electric steering. Built on a foam-filled hull with a vinylester barrier coat, the boat features a distinctive Clear-Path swim platform that wraps around the engine rigging, creating an open walkway for fishing, boarding, and docking. Its shallow draft—19 inches with the motor trimmed up—and trailerable weight of 6,500 pounds make it accessible for varied cruising grounds. Standard equipment includes a bow thruster, windlass with 16.5-pound anchor, trim tabs, and a 12-inch Garmin chartplotter with GPS and sonar.

Below deck, the R-25 accommodates a private forward stateroom with television, a convertible dinette seating four that converts to a bed, a quarter berth, and an enclosed head with an electric marine toilet and shower. The galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric and alcohol stove, and hot and cold water at the sink. Climate control, four opening skylights, and LED cabin lighting complete the living spaces. The boat carries 99 gallons of fuel, 34 gallons of fresh water, and a 14-gallon holding tank.

This model comes standard with lithium house batteries, a 220-watt solar panel, battery charger and inverter, and a 30-amp shorepower inlet. Additional electronics and systems include a VHF radio with DSC capability, carbon monoxide detectors, navigation lights, and a macerator discharge. The cockpit seats five or more, features a self-bailing design, and is topped with a soft cockpit cover.
