2026 Ranger Tugs R-27

The Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 31-foot cruising trawler built on a foam-filled fiberglass hull with a vinylester barrier coat. Power comes from a single Yamaha F350 outboard (350 hp), with an optional twin F150 configuration available. The boat carries 150 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of water, and a 30-gallon holding tank. Standard equipment includes a 12-inch Garmin chartplotter with GPS and sonar, Garmin xHD radar, autopilot, bow thruster, electric trim tabs, windlass, and a comprehensive anchor package. Navigation electronics and single-lever electronic shift and throttle control simplify operation across varying water conditions.

The cockpit is designed for both cruising and fishing. It features seating for five or more, a livewell, electric grill, sink and table, downrigger pads, and rod holders. The soft-top cockpit cover, swim step with stainless steel ladder, and washdown system round out the outdoor amenities. Four opening skylights and a curved windshield with overhead glass atrium flood the interior with natural light.

Accommodations include a private forward stateroom with television, a midship berth, and a dinette that converts to a sleeping surface, providing three separate sleeping areas. The galley is fully equipped with a propane stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and sink with hot and cold water. An enclosed head with electric marine toilet and shower completes the self-contained layout. Climate control, LED cabin lighting, and a multi-zone Fusion stereo system enhance comfort during extended time aboard.

Power systems feature Lithium house batteries, a 220-watt solar panel, battery charger, and inverter. A 30-amp shorepower inlet is standard. Safety equipment includes fire extinguishers, first aid kit, life jackets, fenders, lines, boat hook, flares, VHF radio with DSC capability, carbon monoxide detectors, and navigation lights.
