The Ranger Tugs R-31 CB is a 34-foot fiberglass trawler designed for extended cruising while remaining trailerable. Powered by a single 320-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, it features the brand's signature pilothouse design with a retractable flybridge that folds down for trailering. The command bridge offers helm controls at both upper and lower stations, each equipped with Garmin chartplotters featuring xHD radar, sonar, AIS receiving, and autopilot with remote capability. Bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote controls aid close-quarters maneuvering.
The boat accommodates two staterooms: a forward island berth with en suite head and a midship berth with day head. The lower helm station connects directly to the side decks via a starboard door for convenient line handling. The galley includes a propane stove and oven with broiler, double basin sinks with pull-out faucet, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, and wine cooler. Navigation and engine data are easily accessible from either helm station.
Outdoor spaces prioritize entertaining flexibility. The command bridge seats six around a dining table and is safely accessed by interior staircase. The cockpit features expandable gunwale seating that folds away when not in use, alongside a wood table. The foredeck includes a separate seating and table arrangement that raises or lowers depending on operating conditions. The Luxury Edition model adds reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning along with a diesel generator equipped with sound shielding.
Standard equipment includes electronic controls at both helms, VHF radio, and a full-size helm door. Bow and stern thrusters come as standard, as does an optional aft steering station.
