2026 Ranger Tugs R-31 S

The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-31 S is a 34-foot foam-filled fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising while remaining trailerable. Powered by a Volvo D4 320-horsepower diesel inboard engine, it cruises at 16 knots and carries 180 gallons of fuel and 60 gallons of fresh water. The hull features a vinylester barrier coat and self-bailing cockpit. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote, electric trim tabs, windlass, 16-inch Garmin navigation system with xHD radar, autopilot with AIS receiving, and full climate control.

The foredeck includes wraparound seating and a fold-away table for entertaining underway or at anchor. The cockpit seats six with fold-out gunwale seats and is protected by a hard-top with integrated lights and hatches. A starboard side door provides access to the bow for line handling, and a transom entry door adds deck access aft.

Below deck, the R-31 S accommodates six with two full staterooms. The forward cabin features a large island berth with memory foam mattress and an en suite head; the midship stateroom sleeps additional guests. A convertible dinette provides further sleeping space and seats five. The galley includes a propane stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and a double basin sink with hot and cold water. Lithium house batteries with solar panel charging and a 220-watt inverter/charger power the cabin systems.

The boat features four opening skylights, a full enclosed head with shower and macerator discharge, LED lighting throughout, and a multi-zone Fusion stereo system. An aluminum triple-axle trailer with electric and hydraulic brakes is available as an option.
