The Rigiflex New Matic 400 is a 4-metre runabout designed for dependable performance in rescue and commercial work. Built using rotary-moulded construction as a single piece with no joins or seams, the hull is made from hard-wearing, UV-resistant material engineered to withstand intensive, regular use. Power comes from a Yamaha F30BETL 30hp outboard with fuel injection, remote control, power trim and tilt, and electric start. The boat accommodates up to 7 persons and is rated for Design Category D and C.
The layout features a side console with steering wheel and helm steering, a windscreen for weather protection, and a handrail for safety. Storage is provided by large central and forward lockers sized to carry rescue and lifesaving equipment. A rear bench with cushion and backrest seats passengers securely. The hull weighs 200 kilograms.
