The 2026 Scout 188 Sportfish is an 18.92-foot center console powered by twin 400-horsepower Yamaha engines. Built on Scout's Air Assist Hull design, the boat delivers high performance with efficient fuel consumption and early planning characteristics that reduce the horsepower needed while maintaining stability across variable water conditions.
The layout centers on a full console with a sun lounge seat and large underside fish box storage. The boat seats six with additional jump seats at the stern. Rod storage is extensive: four stainless steel flush-mount holders at the stern, four rods stored under the gunwale, and three more positioned on the console side. An aerated live well on the port aft provides bait management, while six pull-up cleats, six cup holders, and a stainless rub rail complete the functional deck layout. A windscreen and grab rail protect the helm station.
Additional equipment includes dual integrated swim platforms, bay star hydraulic steering, a dual battery switch with digital switching, and USB/USB-C charging. The composite hull can be ordered in full hull color, and a single-axle aluminum trailer is included.
