The 2026 Scout 188 Sportfish is an 18.9-foot center console built on Scout's Air Assist hull design, a composite structure engineered for early plane and stable performance while minimizing power demand. The single Yamaha 90 hp gasoline engine drives this compact sportfish, which features a starboard-side swim platform and Bay Star hydraulic steering for easy handling.

The boat's layout centers on a forward console with integrated lounge seating and a large beneath-seat storage and fish box. The cabin accommodates six people total, with reversible pilot seating that includes an underseat cooler. A Fusion stereo system provides audio, and dual battery select switching manages electrical systems.

Standard and optional equipment includes a Sport Package with a bimini top, bow cushion, and bolster cushions. The helm seat is reversible. An Alpine Grey composite hull finishes the exterior. A custom welded Magic Tilt trailer is available as a separate purchase option.
