The Scout 188 Sportfish is an 18.92-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a Yamaha 115 hp gasoline engine. Scout's Air Assist hull design enables early planning and stability while reducing horsepower demand, delivering high performance in a compact package. The boat rides on an aluminum Magic Tilt trailer.
The layout centers on a console with windscreen and grab rail, topped by a sun lounge seat with large underside storage and fish box. Six passengers can be accommodated across the console seating, port and starboard stern jump seats with cushions, and bow seating. The fishing setup includes four stainless steel flush-mount rod holders at the stern, rod storage under the gunwales and along the console sides, and an aerated live well on the port aft.
Standard features span the console's digital switching, on/off battery select, USB and USB-C ports, six cup holders, six pull-up cleats, and stainless steel rub rail. Dual swim platforms flank the transom. The boat comes equipped with shrink wrap and offers a selection of options including an Alpine Gray hull color, Bay Star hydraulic steering, Bimini top, bow cushion with bolster, Dometic trim tabs with LED switch, Fusion stereo package, and Garmin 74CV chartplotter.
