The Scout 231 XSB is a 23-foot composite bay boat powered by a single 300-horsepower Mercury engine. Part of Scout's XS lineup, this model combines aggressive styling with practical fishing features designed for inshore and bay work.

The boat accommodates up to five crew members with removable backrests—two forward and three aft—allowing flexible seating arrangements. A patented through-hull bow anchor pole called the Scout Post comes standard.
