This 2026 Scout 231 XSB is a composite-hulled bay boat built for shallow-water fishing and inshore use. At 23 feet with an 8.5-foot beam, it combines proven shallow-draft performance with aggressive styling. Power comes from a single Mercury Verado 300XL V8 outboard with Mercury power steering and a 6-inch hydraulic jackplate for shallow-water operation.

The boat is equipped with a Garmin GT12M transducer for navigation and fish-finding capability. The helm features a JL Audio sound system with six 6.5-inch M6 speakers, one 8-inch subwoofer, and 600-amp amplification distributed across two hardtop pods. Seating includes five removable backrests—two forward and three aft—plus a leaning post with an integrated Igloo cooler. The Scout Post is a patent-pending thru-hull bow anchor pole exclusive to this model.
