The Scout 255 Dorado is a 25-foot dual-console boat built on a composite hull and powered by twin outboards—available with either Yamaha or Mercury engines. The design emphasizes open-air comfort and functionality, with wrap-around bow seating, fiberglass captain's chairs featuring folding bolsters, an electric lounge seat, and port-side fold-down seating to maximize usable deck space. A walk-through transom door provides easy access to the water, and an in-deck watersports locker keeps gear organized.

The boat includes practical amenities for extended time on the water. An enclosed head with sink and a galley area with a Corian countertop, sink, and integrated Yeti cooler handle provisioning and personal needs.
