The Scout 261 XSS is a 26-foot fiberglass center console designed as an inshore/offshore crossover. Powered by a single 425-horsepower Mercury engine, it combines bay boat performance with Scout's luxury finish. The hull features aggressive lines and delivers serious fishability across shallow and open water.
Deck space includes large casting platforms fore and aft, port and starboard aerated baitwells, and generous rod storage. An integrated exposed carbon fiber T-top with fully enclosed windshields provides weather protection, while Fusion Bluetooth stereo with six JL Audio speakers handles entertainment. Standard equipment includes a pocket transom ladder, built-in synthetic decking step, and a console coffin box.
The leaning post is available in two configurations: the standard model with cooler, or an upgrade to a fiberglass aerated livewell design with two helm seats featuring flip-up bolsters, tackle storage, bottle opener, rod holders, and a Corian countertop. Additional options include underwater lights, hardtop-mounted rocket launchers, raw and fresh water washdown, outrigger, Power-Pole, and trolling motor packages. A single head is included in the design.
