2026 Scout 288 LXF

The 2026 Scout 288 LXF is a 28-foot 9-inch center console built on a hand-laid fiberglass hull using Scout's advanced carbon fiber and epoxy infusion process. Powered by dual Mercury 300XL Verado V8 engines totaling 600 horsepower with joystick control, the boat combines offshore capability with refined coastal cruising. The hull features a 21-degree deadrise, 9-foot 9-inch beam, and draws approximately 24 inches of water.

The layout includes a private enclosed head with porcelain toilet, vanity, and skylight. The helm features a digital Garmin display with autopilot and active trim, complemented by power steering and Zipwake trim tabs. Dual helm seats with folding bolsters and armrests are integrated into a fiberglass leaning post that incorporates a bait prep station, tackle drawers, and a 45-quart cooler. Forward seating with backrests and storage, an integrated stern seat, and a forward lounge provide multiple zones for fishing or entertaining.

Fishery equipment includes a 45-gallon aerated aft baitwell, port and starboard in-floor fish boxes with diaphragm pumps, and fresh and raw water washdowns.
