The Scout 288 LXF is a 28-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercury 300XL Verado V8 engines with 600 total horsepower. The design combines open-water capability with a refined interior layout, featuring a fully walkable transom swim platform, port-side swing-in door for easy boarding, and a hardtop with an integrated frameless windshield that provides weather protection without compromising sightlines.

The helm station centers on a leaning post fitted with a bait prep sink, tackle drawers, and a trash receptacle. Forward seating includes backrests and integrated storage below, while helm seats fold bolsters and armrests for comfort and adjustability. A 45-quart YETI cooler and stern anchor with dedicated storage complete the functional layout. Joystick control with electric steering and autopilot comes standard with the engine package, simplifying maneuvering in tight spaces.

Optional upgrades include electronics such as dual Garmin 1243XSV displays, a Garmin GT15M transducer, VHF radio, and a GMR 18 XHD marine radar dome. Additional features available are underwater lights, outriggers, hardtop-mounted rocket launchers, a deluxe stereo package with eight speakers and a powered subwoofer, and premium upholstery and decking packages in various colors.
