The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 is a 28-foot sport cruiser built around a single 430-horsepower MerCruiser 8.2L V8 engine paired with a Bravo Three X dual-prop outdrive. The fiberglass hull features a black full-color scheme accented by an illuminated Sea Ray badge and standard black canvas. An electrically actuated power tower with integrated Bimini top can be lowered for bridge and garage clearance. The boat is equipped with docking lights, RGB-W accent lighting, and underwater lighting throughout the hull and cockpit.

The open deck layout centers on a spacious cockpit with dune-tan upholstery and brown SeaDek flooring. A hydraulic submersible swim platform finished in brown SeaDek drops below the waterline for easy water re-entry. The helm features dual 12-inch Simrad NSX touchscreen displays with Mercury SmartCraft engine diagnostics and digital switching, along with an inductive charging station.
