The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 Outboard is a 28-foot fiberglass sports cruiser built for both social cruising and watersports. Twin Mercury 250 Verado outboard engines delivering 500 horsepower provide the power, managed through SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift and Joystick Piloting systems for precision handling. The hull incorporates an optional Dynamic Running Surface for smooth, efficient performance.

The layout centers on a spacious cockpit with U-shaped bow seating ideal for entertaining, complemented by a next-generation Power Tower featuring a canvas top and extendable sunshade. Storage is integrated throughout the expanded cockpit area. A single head serves the onboard facilities. The optional Power Tower includes swiveling wakeboard racks for watersports access.

Technology is comprehensive: a Dual Digital Dash with Simrad touchscreen displays and Mercury engine data integration forms the helm, paired with a Fusion stereo system for audio. LED courtesy lighting and optional RGB-W color-changing lights are fitted. The VesselView Mobile app provides remote monitoring of boat systems.
