The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 Outboard is a 28-foot fiberglass sports cruiser powered by twin Mercury 250 Verado outboard engines totaling 500 horsepower. The boat features a Joystick Piloting system, SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift controls, and an optional Dynamic Running Surface for smooth handling. A next-generation Power Tower with canvas top and extendable sunshade is available as an option, along with swiveling wakeboard racks for watersports equipment.

The layout centers on a U-shaped bow seating area ideal for socializing, with an expanded cockpit offering plush seating and integrated storage throughout. The boat includes one head and accommodates multiple passengers for day cruising and water activities. A Dual Digital Dash with Simrad touchscreen displays and Mercury Marine engine monitoring provides navigation and performance data at the helm.

Technology onboard includes a Fusion stereo system for audio entertainment and the VesselView Mobile app for remote boat management. LED lighting, including an optional RGB-W color-changing system, is integrated throughout. The boat comes equipped with courtesy lighting as standard.
