The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 Outboard is a 28-foot fiberglass sports cruiser built for both entertaining and watersports. It runs on a single Mercury 250 hp outboard engine and measures 9 feet across the beam. The layout centers on a spacious bow area with U-shaped seating ideal for socializing, while the expanded cockpit provides plush seating and integrated storage throughout.

The helm features dual digital screens with Simrad touchscreen displays and Mercury engine data integration. Control comes via Mercury's SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift system, and the boat supports Joystick Piloting for precision maneuvering. A Fusion stereo system handles audio, and VesselView Mobile app connectivity allows remote monitoring of boat systems. One head is positioned onboard for convenience.
