The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass sports cruiser built to handle up to 22 passengers with a sprawling open layout and multiple entertainment zones. Powered by twin Mercury MerCruiser 8.2L MAG HO ECT engines producing 860 total horsepower, the boat features Axius joystick propulsion for intuitive docking and maneuvering. Advanced technology includes Dynamic Running Surface automated trim tabs, Active Trim GPS-based engine management, and Quiet Ride acoustic insulation to maintain conversation levels throughout the cockpit and cabin even at cruise speeds.

The deck emphasizes social space and water access. A motorized fold-down swim terrace on the starboard side creates an extended beach club platform, while a hydraulic submersible swim step facilitates re-boarding.
