The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass sports cruiser built around a pair of twin MerCruiser 8.2L MAG HO ECT engines delivering 860 total horsepower. The setup includes Bravo Three X counter-rotating sterndrives, Axius joystick propulsion for intuitive docking, and a dynamic running surface that automatically trims the hull for a smooth ride and improved fuel economy. The black hull with white boot stripe and fiberglass hardtop with opening canvas section define the exterior, while an electric submersible swim platform finished in brown SeaDek extends beneath the waterline for convenient water access. Underwater and interior RGBW LED lighting, a remote-controlled spotlight, and full canvas enclosure round out the deck package.

The single-cabin layout includes a V-berth, mid-cabin berth, and bow filler cushion that converts to a large sunpad. The galley features dual refrigerators and dual electric grills for serious food preparation underway. The cockpit is finished in dune-colored SeaDek with a teak bow table, and heating extends comfort into cooler months.
