The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 400 Outboard is a 40-foot sport cruiser built on an Innovation Award-winning design and powered by dual Mercury outboards delivering 1,200 total horsepower. The fiberglass hull incorporates Quiet Ride Technology, engineered to reduce noise and vibration while improving fuel efficiency and ride comfort. The boat's flexible layout centers on an expansive cockpit social zone anchored by a well-appointed wet bar with refrigerator and sink, complemented by optional dual grills. A fold-down swim terrace extends the cockpit all the way to the water, while the generous cabin and abundant bow and cockpit seating accommodate groups comfortably.

The helm station features dual Simrad touchscreen displays—standard 16-inch or optional 12-inch units—with Mercury VesselView Link data integration, chartplotting, depth sounder, and fishfinder capabilities. Joystick Piloting provides ultimate control. A Fathom e-Power system with a Mastervolt lithium-ion battery pack replaces a traditional generator and can power the boat's accessory systems for approximately eight hours without external charging. Sea Ray+ Connect Technology allows remote monitoring of location, engine data, alerts, and on-board system status through a mobile app.
