The Seawind 1170 is a 39-foot composite catamaran built to modern standards, combining efficient design with proven performance features. Twin Yanmar 29 hp diesel engines, supported by 132 gallons of fuel capacity and 160 gallons of water storage, are paired with ample space for large solar and lithium power systems. The hull construction uses carbon reinforcement in high-load areas and full vinylester resin infusion.
Accommodations span three cabins and two heads, with 6 feet 6 inches of headroom throughout the saloon and staterooms. Large opening windows and hatches provide natural light and ventilation. The layout centres on a forward-opening saloon with signature trifold doors, dual protected helm stations, and cockpit arrangements that maximise living and entertaining space. Cruising mini-keels protect the inboard diesel sail drives and spade rudders.
The catamaran is equipped for extended cruising and full live-aboard use, with all control lines running to the cockpit for safety and comfort in variable conditions.
