The Silent SY80 is a 80-foot solar-electric catamaran built from composite, powered by two electric motors rated at 200 kW continuous and backed by a 354 kWh lithium battery bank—expandable to 708 kWh. A 22.4 kWp solar array supplements the batteries, while optional range extenders provide flexibility for extended voyages. The yacht reaches 12 knots maximum and cruises at 7 to 8 knots.
The yacht offers four cabins and four heads, with accommodation layouts tailored to individual preference. The master suite can be positioned on the main deck or lower deck. The three-deck configuration options include an open flybridge with bar and galley for entertaining, or a closed layout with a full owner's suite and panoramic views. All versions feature generous social spaces: open-plan saloons, fully equipped galley, and multiple lounging areas that exceed the interior volume of many monohull superyachts over 35 meters.
Deck space spans the full breadth of the catamaran hull. The foredeck provides sunbathing areas, while the aft deck accommodates dining, lounge seating, and wet bar facilities. A tender garage on the aft port side encloses tenders up to 4.5 meters. The design reflects Italian styling in the exterior lines paired with modern bespoke interiors.
The boat carries up to 2,000 liters of fresh water, 2,000 liters of grey and black water, and 5,000 liters of auxiliary fuel. Draft is 1.6 meters, and light displacement is 71 tons.
