The Skeeter SX221 is a 21.5-foot composite bay boat built for serious shallow-water fishing. Powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine, it combines responsive handling with the fuel efficiency and reliability demanded by anglers working flats and mangrove systems.
The design prioritizes working space and practical fishing features. The front deck has lowered gunnels for better sight lines and casting angles, while the console includes a 14-gallon baitwell with recirculating pump and timer. Twin rear livewell/baitwells offer dual 14-gallon capacity with fill and recirculating systems controlled by timer. A new lean post aft incorporates storage and a 45-quart Engel cooler. Fourteen vertical rod holders are distributed throughout, and five 6-inch stainless cleats provide secure attachment points. A removable windshield allows configuration flexibility, and the 12-inch setback plate aids shallow-water navigation.
Standard equipment includes a Yamaha CL5 display for electronics integration, Seastar hydraulic steering (or optional Yamaha digital steering with DEC engine), and a coastal white rub-rail fitted with stainless steel insert for durability.
