The Solaris 50 is a 50-foot sailing yacht built in fiberglass with a beam of nearly 16 feet. Powered by a single 75 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine, the design combines modern engineering with careful attention to both performance and comfort. The hull features a broad stern and twin rudder blades positioned to deliver strong stability and precise steering control across a range of wind conditions.
The interior uses brushed oak throughout and can be customized in collaboration with Poltrona Frau for upholstery and materials. The layout includes three cabins, two heads, and a main salon filled with natural light. An owner's cabin provides dedicated private space. A standout feature is the longitudinal dinghy garage integrated into the stern — a watertight, sealed compartment that allows easy stowage and retrieval of the tender without compromising cabin volume.
The cockpit is generously proportioned for comfort and safety, with room for one or two tables and helm stations positioned outboard for clear forward sight lines even with the sprayhood raised. Integrated steps channel water away from the helm areas to keep them dry in rough conditions. The optimized waterlines and hull design work together to balance efficiency with the dynamic control needed across varying sea states.
