The Southport 33 DC is a dual console fishing platform redesigned for family cruising and entertaining. Built on the proven hull of the Southport 33, it maintains the brand's fishing heritage while delivering the dry, safe, and economical performance of much larger boats. The hull uses a continuously variable deep-V design with a 22-degree transom deadrise and is constructed entirely of composite materials—solid vinylester vacuumed-infused hull with a high-density integrally infused composite transom. Two Mercury engines produce 800 hp combined and are controlled via joystick.
The bridgedeck centers on a modern helm pod with dedicated station featuring a deluxe Stidd helm chair, Edson wheel with power knob, and a raised port-side co-pilot lounge with table and rear-facing seat. Forward seating is deep and open with a teak table, Yeti cooler on a SeaDek pad, and integrated cupholder pockets with speakers. The aft cockpit offers foldable L-shaped benches and an aft-facing bench with storage, plus integrated swim platforms and hull rub rails. The hardtop is fiberglass with a walk-through windshield, wipers with freshwater rinse, integrated radar bump, and LED flood and accent lighting throughout.
Below deck is a single cabin on the port side with twin berths and storage compartments underneath. A starboard-side head compartment contains a freshwater electric marine toilet and freshwater sink. The boat features a stereo system with six speakers and satellite receiver, an electric windlass with plow anchor, 300 feet of rode and 10 feet of chain, and dual bilge pumps with high-water alarm. The self-bailing cockpit design includes large transom scuppers, and all electrical systems are ABYC-approved with dedicated engine and house batteries plus emergency crossover capability.
