2026 Sportsman Heritage 231 Center Console
About This Yacht
The 2026 Sportsman Heritage 231 is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull powered by a single 300 hp Yamaha engine. Designed for families seeking time on the water, the boat balances comfort with capability across its 8.5-foot beam. The layout centers on water-focused enjoyment, with shallow-draft sandbar mode positioning that immerses occupants in their surroundings while maintaining practical deck space and sightlines.
The helm features a Garmin electronics suite including a 12-inch GPSMAP MFD, Apollo RA670 premium stereo with SportTuun, and VHF radio. Steering is hydraulic with tilt adjustment, and a digital switching system with keypad controls key functions. The console includes a 20-quart cooler seat, lockable storage, a porcelain head with pump-out capability, and dual battery configuration with independent fuel fills. Integrated LED lighting and a tempered glass windshield with vent complete the control station.
Seating spans the boat with premium Sileather marine fabrics: a dual helm chair with flip-up bolsters and armrests, a rear bench with removable backrests, and removable bow cushion sets. A removable table mounts in the bow area. The cockpit includes bolster padding throughout. Storage and fishing features include two 10-gallon aft livewells with high-speed pickup, a 36-quart sandbar cooler, 15-gallon freshwater washdown tank, under-gunwale rod racks, and four flush-mount rod holders. A stern anchor box with anchor and line is integrated into the design.
The hull uses an advanced fiberglass stringer system without wood, stainless fasteners throughout, and carries a 10-year warranty. A built-in swim platform with four-step ladder, fiberglass hard-top with integrated frame and navigation lights, non-skid deck treatment, and 106-gallon fuel tank round out the construction. Horn and anchor storage complete the package.
