2026 Sportsman Open 232 Center Console

The 2026 Sportsman Open 232 is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single Mercury 250XL engine with 479 hours. The boat carries a manufacturer warranty through September 2028. This model combines fishing capability with family-friendly comfort in a trailerable package.

The console is fitted with comprehensive electronics including a Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv chartplotter with Bluechart G3, Garmin GT12M 350-watt CHIRP transducer, Garmin VHF 115 radio, and Garmin Apollo RA670 premium stereo with integrated SportTuun. Two wireless phone chargers are integrated into the deck. The helm features hydraulic tilt steering, a stainless steel wheel, integrated tempered glass windshield with vent, and LED lighting throughout. SeaStar digital switching and Sportlink electronics integration tie the systems together.

Accommodations include premium dual helm chairs with flip-up bolsters, a 20-quart console cooler seat, bow and cockpit cushions with premium Serenity Sileather fabric, and a rear fold-down seat. Storage spans an insulated bow locker, anchor storage boxes, rod racks under the gunwales, and a total access hatch. A 25-gallon aquarium livewell, 5-gallon freshwater washdown tank, and raw water washdown round out the fishing setup. The self-bailing cockpit includes a swim platform with four-step boarding ladder and underwater lighting.

The hull and deck are finished in a light Sea Glass Green with matching hard-top underside and black powder coating. The fiberglass hard-top features integrated D-tubing and navigation lights. The boat carries a 106-gallon fuel tank, stainless steel fasteners and fittings, and a built-in swim platform. The construction uses an advanced fiberglass stringer system without wood core.
