The 2026 Sportsman Open 252 is a 25-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Yamaha 300 hp engines. Designed for serious anglers, the boat combines the fishing-focused layout Sportsman is known for with thoughtful customization. The open deck plan offers ample working space, while a bow sundeck with removable cushion and table provides seating and shade forward.

Below deck, the boat includes a porcelain head with overboard discharge and pump-out capability. Electronics are comprehensive: a Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv 12-inch display serves as a secondary screen, paired with Garmin Fusion navigation. Audio comes from a JL Audio Ultra Premium DSP system. A Yamaha autopilot handles long-distance running, and a ProMariner ProTournament Elite 3 four-bank battery charger keeps systems topped up.
