The Sportsman Open 262 is a 26.5-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a 9.4-foot beam and 22-degree deadrise. Twin Yamaha F200XSA engines deliver 400 horsepower total. The boat carries 182 gallons of fuel and 20 gallons of freshwater, with a dry weight of approximately 5,800 pounds.

The helm is equipped with dual 12-inch Garmin multifunction displays running BlueChart G3, a Garmin VHF radio, and CHIRP through-hull transducer. A digital switching system manages onboard systems, while Seakeeper Ride technology provides automatic pitch and roll correction. Dual premium helm seats include integrated leaning post storage and a convertible bow seating arrangement with fillers and backrests.
